Realized from relationships and imagination.
A hyper-targeted curriculum.
We are selective with our investments, and we tend to focus on one-to-two projects every five years or so.
We often take high-minority interest in our portfolio companies, and we work with them closely from investment to growth and exit.
Our goal is to maximize value through relationships and imagination. There’s significant amount of time invested in value-chain study and micro strategy. We act with precision. We embrace exploration because we like to learn, and as a single-family office, we have the luxury of designing our investment curriculum.
We are sector-agnostic, though we typically prefer a deep-tech angle, and welcome opportunities outside of the US and Korea.
We have embarked on over fifty projects—in both real estate and venture.
Investing isn’t a means to an end. It has been in our DNA for generations, and we really enjoy the process, as well.
Our investment mandates:
Universality.
Can the premise of this project be applied to a wide range of humanity? We seek and invest in projects that can affect and benefit a wide range of markets, across countries and cultures.
These are the categories of life sciences, health-tech, food, climate, energy, space.
Legacy.
Can the premise of this project withstand the test of time? Will it be relevant to future generations? The overall idea is invest in grounded, well-founded concepts.
Aspects of impact and sustainability are essential components of the opportunities we consider.
